Research Themes

The group has organized its research in several tracks or research themes, each consisting of a number of related projects.

RF electronics

High-speed electronics and Digital RF

Microwave circuits

Microwave components and circuits, microwave and mm-wave instrumentation

Space electronics systems

Structured electronic design, applied to space electronics systems

mm-wave sensors

System concepts and wireless front-end building blocks to realize high performance sensing for applications operating in the (sub)mm-wave range.

Characterization and modelling up to sub THz

The scope of CaM2THz is to improve and mature characterization, modeling and system integration at sub-mm-wave frequencies, in order to reach the level required to fully exploit emerging THz applications.

Big-data on-chip transmission

On-chip transceiver supporting the big-data transmission
